Since in we live in Verona and many of our sales are local, we will post monthly sales stats for Verona. If you live in surrounding areas such as Madison, Middleton, Oregon, Mount Horeb, etc feel free to contact us if you’d like some info on your particular house or neighborhood (we do lots of work in those areas too).
Believe it or not June house sales in Verona are actually down over last June. I think this is likely a result of low inventory. Although, the median price is up about 11% over last year at this time. The median sales price is actually 1.2% above the median listing price. Yes you read that right, many homes that are appropriately priced are selling at or above asking price with competing offers.
Cathedral Point remains the most active neighborhood with all the construction going on and 8 houses closed last month. Hawthorne Hills and Miller & Mutchler neighborhoods tied for the fastest selling in June at 7 days on the market.
