Verona Home Sales Statistics – June 2015
You’ve probably heard by now that the real estate market is hot again. Since in we live in Verona and many of our sales are local, we will post monthly sales stats for Verona. Believe it or not June house sales in Verona are actually down over last June. I think this is likely a result of low inventory. Although, the median price is up about 11% over last year at this time. The median sales price is actually 1.2% above the median listing price. Yes you read that right, many homes that are appropriately priced are selling at or above asking price with competing offers.
Cathedral Point remains the most active neighborhood with all the construction going on and 8 houses closed last month. Hawthorne Hills and Miller & Mutchler neighborhoods tied for the fastest selling in June at 7 days on the market.
